Aikido for
Children Ages 5-12
Children
benefit from practicing Aikido. Avid learners of new
material, they enjoy challenging their bodies and minds and
take special pride in mastering new skills. Children also
require regular exercise to stay fit both physically and
mentally. Aikido provides children with the opportunity to
develop their physical and mental awareness, improve
physical condition, enhance self-esteem and improve
interpersonal skills.
Based on Aikido principles, exercises and
techniques work to coordinate a child's body and mind.
Through Aikido training, children learn the power of
movement, while having a good time.
